New York Harbor

I spent half a day here visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island while in New York. The climb up the Statue is pretty fun - you get to see the inside of a 19th century monument, but if you're afraid of heights or of closed spaces, it isn't for you. Ellis Island works better for everyone - it's a good museum of American immigration with a variety of exhibits. And if it's a pleasant day, the downtown New York skyline is exceptional!
