I went here several times while in Glasgow, since First Church Austin has ties here. In the summer of 1999, we exchanged ministers with Greyfriars Parish in Lanark. Also, Dave Wilson from our congregation grew up in Lanark. There are also nice sights nearby. The town even has some ties to William Wallace, the famed Scottish freedom-fighter.
