San Marino

This country is located on a small mountain in central Italy, but it's its own country! It also is one of the world's oldest countries! Unfortunately, I found San Marino to be very touristy, although I did find some parts of the country to be rather nice. Views between the towers are great, and there are even a few wooded areas you can stroll through. I stayed over for the night, and most of the tourists only stay for the afternoon, so I pretty much had San Marino all to myself! Go here if you want to see another country, and to say you've been, but otherwise you might not find too much.
