Delft

The Gulmans, my family in Den Haag, took me here for one of my afternoons while I was visiting them from Paris. Lots of good Dutch architecture here. A little more low-key than Amsterdam, but still nice - it was more like what you'd expect a more rural Dutch town to look like, but still with canals, bicycles, and churches! Had pancakes on the main square at the same restaurant Bill Clinton had eaten at during his visit.

Houses by the canal. The leaning Oudekerk (Old Church). The tall Nieuwekerk (New Church).
Tom and Judy Gulman and the Delft Town Hall. A typical house in Delft. I love the red shutters.
