I love this country! I first went here in spring 1988 on Memorial Day Weekend from Germany. I returned in September 1999 during my pre-Scotland travel, and fell in love all over again! (mind the cliché) Beautiful mountains coming out the Rhine Valley, and with regions very rustically and beautifully alpine.
