Chugoku
Chugoku is the western end of Honshu, the main island. Its southern coast touches the Inland Sea, and has many islands just off the coastline. Eleanor and I visited one of these islands, perhaps one of the most famous, even if you've never of it: Miyajima. It is only about 20 minutes from Hiroshima, another place everyone must visit sometime in their lives.
