I can scarcely remember going to Victoria in 1984, before m uncle Peter's wedding, but when I returned in 2000, I went further east in the province. My mom, cousins Pierce and Claire, and I were on a trip to see the Canadian Rockies! We had a rather good time.

Columbia Lake, the source of the Columbia River. Another view of Columbia Lake Claire and Pierce on the banks of a stream in Kootenay National Park.
I believe the stream is obviously runoff from a glacier - notice the fine white touch to the water. The Continental Divide forms the southern border between Alberta and BC. Some beautiful erosion near Radium Hot Springs.
